1.I ended up shopping for this at a local sports store and like the previous 2 reviewers was a bit wary to purchase it because there were no reviews. I finished up finally buying it because of the reputation that Schwinn has with its other ellipticals and was not disappointed.

I’d no problems putting it in concert by myself but it would be best to have two people. Thanks reviewer Warm for informing me that the water bottle holder is not included. I’ll stop searching my house for the damn thing now. I assumed I lost it. The bolts, screws, and machines come on two cardboard sheets along with two wrenches and a hex/screw driver. You will have the screws left over for the water bottle holder. The programming is pretty straight forward until I got to the custom program level. I am still not sure how I got past that screen.

The elliptic itself feels sturdy and well built. I’m 300 weight and it supports my weight without having shaking or wobbling. The 18″ stride and the handles feel comfortable for my 5’10″ frame. I read some complaints from the salesmen at the sports store that the handles were to far forward but I did not have that problem. The console is pretty basic but ideasexpected for the price.

Bottom line is if you are looking for a sub $600 elliptical that is well built, this is the one for you.

2.I purchased one of these, was quite pleased with the quality and have not encountered any “squeaking”. I was also able to assemble the unit alone. The only problem I did was that one of the parts did not appear on the cardboard sheet having the nuts, bolts and washers with the correct letter. Letter F refers to two phillips head screws. If you look in the manual on page 6 , F is shown as a washer, but appears much larger in the photo than it really is. This part (there are 4 of them) is a small black washer.

I am changing my suggestion on this device to five stars. I recently discovered that the bottom part of the uprights that connects to the peddles were mislabeled, in other words the L sticker was on the R, producing me to switch them. This will make a HUGE difference and I’m now very satisfied with the unit. There’s still some lean forward but it is not a deal breaker and no worse than I encountered on my old Nordic Trac. Even if your parts are tagged correctly be sure to the finished product matches the photo in terms of the way the bottom sections of the upright curve, as well as the top. It is also not clear what they mean by L and R since this changes depending on whether you are facing the machine in riding position or standing in front of it where you do most of the assembly.>>>Read More

1.It little Elliptical machine is perfect for small spaces. It’s simple to assemble and sturdily built (in fact,it is quite heavy for its size). Small than normal stride takes a little becoming familiar with, and the hands-free operation requires some balance, but I get a really good workout from this little machine. It could be alittle awkward to change position because it has no handles, per se. And it is a bit like a stationary unicycle. Its a good value for the money.

2.This is a great little item to use if you do not have much room and you need a little 20/30 minute work out everyday! 1.I am loving this bike a great deal. It doesn’t take up too much room, though the “stow away” facet of it was not as impressive as I was hoping–when you fold it up, you save maybe one foot of room. But this is okay because will still be a pretty skinny device. I keep it in the closet and roll it out each day–I wouldn’t say this is light (it’s about 40 lbs) but it is not hard to maneuver. Assembly was not that difficult. All in all, a great bike for getting some exercise while doing other things (I watch TV, read, or play a game on my Nintendo DS). .

3.I I had had the bike for about a week. It is great! I am really surprised how sturdy it’s, considering how compact (relatively) and light-weight it is. I’m not sure what all the issues are about. First of all, I found the bike easy to put together (1/2 hour or so). Also,I am a 5’5″ woman, and it seems to fit me perfectly with the seat adjusted to the fourth hole from the top, so I will not see how someone my height might have a problem touching the pedals, consideringI’ve three holes to adjust the seat lower (I can lower the seat about 4 inches if I wanted to). In response to an earlier post, I am not sure if it would fit a 4’11″ person. I think so, but your 10 year old may have to stretch a little bit, although I’m sure they will grow into it. I’m also expecting it to be 50+ lbs. I weighed it, and it’s 37 lbs. or so. Not bad, considering that it’s wheels. I like that there is a perfect place to set your water bottle in front of you where the frame is split. And although Iwould not call it comfortable, it is not uncomfortable. Oh, and for the record, I’ve been using it for at least forty five min every day, it it is just fine.

1.I generally don’t love cardio exercises, so I was looking for something that I can fit in my apartment that is not an eyesore, will not have to be folded or stored away, quiet (I live the 2nd floor), and fun to use. I like the compact size of this bike because it fits in the corner of the living room. It is very private and extremely easy to get a good cardio exercise on. I purchased a gel seat, a heart rate monitor, the digifit connect (which is also excellent) for iphone, along with the ispin app for iphone. With this set-up, I will create my own workouts, or use the ispin program guide. The bike was easy to put together, feels really solid, and is well designed. I can get a serious cardio work out in my living room while watching tv or blasting music. Thought about love this bike and have finally found a cardio exercise that I appreciate.

1.Purchased the Schwinn 120 Upright a few weeks ago. Took approximately one hour to assemble. Unlike some of the other reviewers experience, all the parts were in good condition. I am extremely pleased with the item. It is very well constructed and stable. I’m 6’2″ and my knees don’t hit the center console (unless my knees are angled inward, that is not how one should pedal). I’m a good avid bicyclist and find the ride very smooth and whisper quiet. I enjoy the variety of programs included as well as the option of creating my own. 1.I love this bike. I’m a 60yr old that does not get out a lot in the winter since my husband is disabled. This provides me the excercise I want. It is quiet, and compact for a recumbent bike.

I wish Amazon might have told me to purchase the adaptor. It runs well on the batteries, but the adapter is sold seperately. I called and got one directly from Schwinn. Encoding the bike is a little difficult at first, I didn’t realize you had to hit enter after each category, but I’ve truly got it down pat now. I have had my bike for a month and so far so great. I use it common.

2.I obtained this to quickly from the Gold Box. When I opened the package I’m pleasantly greeted by the details and a package with the needed tools. The nuts and bolts were identified in the package. The details were among the better I have ever seen, quite simple to comprehend. The various components, nuts and bolts fit perfectly. It’s put together within 1/2 hour and surprised me with the quality. I was not sure what that quality would be because of the price that was paid.

I am 6’5″ – 240 lbs., so I was worried about the leg room and sturdiness of the bike. I fit just fine. I can not move the seat back any more but it seems to have no problem for an individual of my size to fit on the bike. I would not recommend it for anybody over 6’6″ tall. The built in fan is cheesy, and the LCD is a bit hard to read, but for the price, I can’t see it as a big deal. It has 6 programs that you can use or you can just manually adjust it. The Marcy Recumbent Mag Cycle Best price The husband and I would look for a style of stationary bike that was easy on the posterior and on the wallet. This Marcy recumbent Mag cycle is both! My hubby and my teenaged son could put it together in less than an hour (if you do not count the time in installing the parts and examining the instructions first). There were two washers left over, so I’m assuming that the producer included extras.

The computer monitor keeps track of the time you will spend exercising in each session, speed, distance traveled, calories burned, and it has an odometer.We were impressed by how quiet it’s, as our previous upright stationary bike was quite noisy. The bike also has a dial to set the tension point (there are eight points).

I’m able to buy the Marcy bike for sale for $127 and with super saver shipping through Amazon I’m able to get free shipping and handling. This turned into a much better deal than through Walmart dot com.

The instructions advise to have 2 different people put this cycle together, but I’m able to do it by myself having to break a sweat. One part of the instructions is incorrect, asking you to use three washers if you really need four (you’ll figure it out by exploring the drawn instructions). I build it in under an hour with no problems.

The cycle is quite sturdy and quiet. I’ve the cycle stored next to our babies’ bed and ride while they are falling asleep so I can look over them – it is VERY quiet! The greatest magnetic tension is also pretty decent for a home machine. The monitor is very basic, but has the necessities.

Overall, I’m happy with this buy and would suggest!

I have had this recumbent stationary bike for about four months. I am not good at putting things together, but did not have much challenge with this bike. There is one bolt in the seat that only would not fit, but the seat is solid and stable nonetheless. One of the advantages of this bike is its lightweight overall. I desired to fit it into a narrow space in my bedroom, so I didn’t attach the armrests, and it fits perfectly. I do not miss the armrests. I’m 5’3″ and the bike is relaxed for me adjusted to the shortest setting. It’s comfortable even for 45-60 minutes. You can easily read or watch a movie on my computer while riding (there is a table nearby). The bike is quite , so we could talk on the phone if I am not breathing too hard.

I don’t have much confidence in the “computer” that tells me distance, speed, and calories burned. The time function is accurate; if the motorcycle’s clock says I exercised for forty five minutes, I will verify that by the clock on the wall. The speed and distance seems over-optimistic; I doubt that I was “going” 20 mph or that I rode 13.7 miles in 45 minutes. But even if those figures are not realistic, they are useful benchmarks. My warm-up pace is usually slower than my “cruising” pace; the entire”odometer” shows that I have racked up some miles, and helps me create goals around distance as well as time.

Considering that the cost of this bike is comparatively low, it’s an very nice value. I am conscious that I have only put a few hundred miles on it; I hope it holds up over time. Its cost, though, was cheaper than 1 month of a gym membership in my community. In some ways it is better than a gym membership, because of the capability of having it in my home and sold at all hours. I actually use it, too–something that’s not always true of a gym membership! The Schwinn 240 Best Buy After months of trying to decide if we should buy an exercise bike, we finally bit the bullet. We went right down to Dick’s sporting goods and even though they didn’t have one on display, they did have one int he back. We bought the Schwinn 240 due to it being one of the newest models. Some of the things we really liked better were minor, but made the difference to us. The number of different programs were higher than the other models. Being able to remember a user’s information was also a huge positive from other models where every time a different user uses the equipment you have to reset all your information. The cup holder not under the seat but on the console made more sense and having the basket to store magazines and things just seemed neater. It took about 1.5 hours to assemble. Hint: A couple of the parts were already to the bike that has been confusing when comparing to the parts list. The model is nice looking, smaller than our elliptical and easy to move around with the wheels. I have not had it long enough yet to know how it will hold up, but it is very sturdy, very quiet and seems like it will last for a long time.

I bought this bike over a month ago. It’s been fantastic. I am a 6ft 4in 220 lb man and this machine accommodates me perfectly. It has unbelievable resistance ranges.
